Roman Bedime is leaving the Niners Chemnitz after two years. The 24-year-old center is moving to basketball Bundesliga rivals Skyliners Frankfurt. Bedime has signed a two-year contract there. He played a total of 45 games for Chemnitz.
"I am very grateful for my time in Chemnitz and all the support I received from our coaches and fans. With their help, I was able to achieve my goal of developing into a Bundesliga player," Bedime said in a club statement.
The 2.03-metre-tall Bedime is expected to give Frankfurt additional physicality and efficiency in the wide positions in future. "We are delighted to have signed Roman, a talented German and very versatile big man. We have high hopes for his development and trust him to play an important role for us in the future, right up to becoming a key player," said Skyliners coach Klaus Perwas about the new signing.
