After a majority vote by the AfD and BSW in the Saxon state parliament on a motion by the Greens, Sahra Wagenknecht is calling for an end to the firewall against the AfD. "The undemocratic firewall must finally go," the BSW founder told the German Press Agency.
Motion by the Greens in Saxony adopted with AfD votes
Wagenknecht described the reactions to the vote in the Saxon state parliament on Wednesday evening, in which a motion by the Greens to support small slaughterhouses was adopted with votes from the AfD and BSW, as hysterical excitement. "It should be a completely normal parliamentary process for the majority will of the state parliament to prevail on a substantive issue."
