Two men in Leipzig have been charged with making hateful remarks in a bank and at the scene of an accident. A 51-year-old man insulted a 62-year-old man who was standing in front of him at the counter of a bank, the police said. The man then left, but because he was a bank customer, the police were able to identify him.
In the second incident, a 47-year-old man witnessed an accident. During his statement, he made insulting remarks about one of the people involved. In addition to the accident report, the officers also filed charges of incitement to hatred.
