As part of a Bundeswehr exercise, a larger military convoy from Saxony is expected to arrive in Berlin-Kladow next Monday. The convoy of about 100 vehicles will start at the Oberlausitz military training area near the Saxon town of Weißwasser and is expected to arrive at Berlin's Blücher Barracks after a drive through Brandenburg, the Bundeswehr's Territorial Command announced Thursday.
The convoy will travel in groups of about twenty vehicles, mainly on highways and federal roads, the statement said. Road users are asked to keep a greater distance and not to merge between the individual Bundeswehr vehicles.
