The city of Leipzig aims to become the central point of contact in Germany for Vietnamese companies. During an inaugural visit by Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Dac Thanh on Friday, a letter of intent to establish a “German Vietnam Hub” is set to be signed, the city announced. Düsseldorf, which has established itself over decades as a preferred location for companies from China, India, Japan, and Korea, serves as a model. Vietnam is an important trading partner for Germany. The “German Vietnam Hub” is intended to facilitate investment, bring partners together, and create new business opportunities. Leipzig looks back on 75 years of growing relations with Vietnam and maintains a partnership with Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, the city is the “natural location” for such a project.
