There is a new advice center in Bautzen for victims of right-wing, racist and anti-Semitic violence. The Saxony Democracy Center has opened a new contact point there, the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Social Cohesion announced in Dresden. The contact point is also intended to strengthen mobile counseling and school counseling on dealing with right-wing extremism, racism, anti-Semitism and other forms of misanthropy.
"With the new contact point in Bautzen, we are ensuring that those affected by right-wing, racist or anti-Semitic violence receive fast and competent local support," explained Minister Petra Köpping (SPD). "At the same time, we are creating additional services for schools, associations, businesses and other stakeholders in order to strengthen social cohesion and counteract inhumane incidents."
