The election results for the Leipzig 2025 Migrant Advisory Council have been announced. 16 members were elected to promote integration and political participation.

From April 7 to 14, Leipzig residents with a history of migration were able to vote online for 16 members of the Migrant Advisory Council. In a public meeting on April 14, 2025, the election committee determined the result of the election of the Migrant Advisory Council of the City of Leipzig 2025. The following 16 persons were thus determined for the City Council's list of nominees in accordance with Section 12 of the Statutes on the Election Regulations for the Members of the Migrant Advisory Board of the City of Leipzig:

The total number of valid votes cast was 12,238, with a voter turnout of 6.6 percent. The order of the successors is only determined when a member of the Advisory Board leaves. With the election, the City of Leipzig is pursuing the goal of strengthening the political participation of Leipzig residents with a history of migration. The advisory board acts as an advisory body and interest group and, thanks to its right to submit motions, has the opportunity to independently introduce topics to the council assembly.
