Neisse Film Festival seeks entries for 2026

Filmmakers from Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic can once again submit their works for the film festival in the border triangle.

The Neisse Film Festival is now accepting entries for its 23rd edition next year. The organizers announced on Tuesday that they are looking for films from the years 2025 and 2026 that were produced or co-produced in at least one of the three countries Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. The deadline for entries is December 31, 2025.

From May 26 to 31, 2026, competitions for feature films, documentaries and short films will once again be held in the border triangle on the Neisse River. Eleven "Neisse Fish" will be awarded with prizes worth a total of 26,500 euros. In addition to the best films in the categories, audience prizes and awards for screenplay, production design and acting performance will also be presented.
