Minister of State for Culture Wolfram Weimer has canceled the presentation of the German Bookstore Prize at the Leipzig Book Fair. The background to the decision is a debate about the exclusion of three bookshops, his spokesman announced. Weimer's decision to remove three left-wing bookshops from the list of jury recommendations had caused massive criticism.
