In order to compile the lists, the sales figures of the book titles discussed on the platform are collected from over 9,000 bookshops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and compared with Tiktok's analyses, explained the managing director of the market research institute Media Control, which compiles the lists together with Tiktok. To make the platform's book tips even more recognizable in the future, there will now also be a sticker on the books.
