Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna is now a state-recognized resort in Saxony, with a focus on nature and landscape. Tourism Minister Barbara Klepsch acknowledges the municipality's efforts.

Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna in the Sächsische Schweiz/Osterzgebirge district is now a state-recognized resort in Saxony. "With this designation, Saxony is recognizing the municipality's many years of efforts to develop tourism and offer a good range of services," said Tourism Minister Barbara Klepsch (CDU) on Monday, according to a press release. The municipality scores points with guests for being active in nature and the countryside and for climbing the five peaks Zirkelstein, Kaiserkrone, Wolfsberg and the two Zirnsteine. Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna is the 25th state-recognized resort in the Free State of Bavaria.
