New Roller Coaster Opens at Karls Adventure Village

At Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Döbeln (Central Saxony), there’s a new attraction for young and old alike. On Saturday, the family roller coaster “Bettys Beerchen Boomerang” opened at the park. The ride is designed for children, parents, and grandparents, the operator announced. Instead of extreme speeds, the focus is on having fun while riding. In keeping with the theme park’s central theme—the strawberry—the ride car is designed to resemble a strawberry basket.

Saxony’s Minister President Michael Kretschmer also attended the opening of the new attraction. The CDU politician took a seat on the roller coaster alongside Robert Dahl, the head of Karls Tourismus GmbH.
