Drivers will once again face restrictions on the Autobahn 9 near Halle from tonight (Sunday) evening. Between the Halle junction and the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction, the lane in the direction of Munich will be fully closed from around 10 p.m. until around 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, as announced by Autobahn GmbH. The Wiedemar junction will also be closed.
Second closure within a few days
During this time, maintenance work on the carriageway will continue around the clock, it said. The section of the highway had already been closed once recently. As during the first full closure, traffic will be diverted from Halle via the B100 to the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction. The reason for the work is damage to the carriageway caused by the frequent alternation of frost and thaw.
