According to a spokesperson for the highway police, traffic has largely been running smoothly since the closure began on Sunday evening. The section between the Halle junction and the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction in the direction of Munich is affected. The section is expected to remain closed until Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. for repair work. Traffic will be diverted via the B100 federal highway to the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction.
