VW integration of eastern plants delayed

However, integration into the parent company has been agreed by collective agreement. A solution is being sought to offer employees in Saxony an employment contract with Volkswagen AG as of January 1, it was reported. Around 10,000 employees are affected. Intensive talks are being held between the company and the employee representatives. The Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Saxony was also due to meet on Monday.
