Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia are now also affected by the extension of nationwide warning strikes in the wage dispute at Deutsche Telekom. All employees of the Group in the three states have been called to all-day work stoppages on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Verdi trade union. There will be rallies and other actions. Among other things, the warning strikes could lead to delays in customer service.
Verdi is demanding a pay rise of 6.6 percent over a twelve-month period as well as a Verdi member bonus of 660 euros per year. The fourth round of negotiations is scheduled to take place next week (May 26/27, 2026).
