Without a driver's license and in his father's car: a 16-year-old tries to evade a police check - and drives as far as the Czech Republic at times.

A 16-year-old tried to flee from the police to the Czech Republic at the wheel of a car. The vehicle belonged to the young man's father and he used it without his knowledge, the police said. He did not have a driver's license.

Officers reportedly wanted to check the car in Ebersbach-Neugersdorf on Friday night. However, the teenager accelerated and briefly drove onto Czech territory. He was later stopped in the Neugersdorf district. The son and car were then handed over to his father.
