The discount grocery chain Lidl is recalling the product “Deluxe Strawberries in White Chocolate” after a substance harmful to health was found in it. According to the online portal “Lebensmittelwarnung.de,” the pesticide chlorpyrifos was detected in the product. The recall affects 120-gram packages with batch numbers 12 L160426-1 and 13 L160426-1 and a best-by date of April 16, 2027. Customers should therefore not consume the affected product. The affected product was sold at Lidl stores nationwide in Germany. It can be returned to any Lidl store. The purchase price will be refunded, even without presenting a receipt. The supplier is the Bulgarian company Victoria Nuts Ltd. from Lozen.
