Business sentiment in eastern Germany is improving slightly. But not all sectors are benefiting. How retailers and service providers are finding new confidence, while the construction and industrial sectors remain hesitant.

Business sentiment in eastern Germany improved slightly in June. According to the Ifo Institute in Dresden, the business climate index rose from 87 points in May to 88 points.
