In Dresden-Johannstadt, the fire department evacuates a school center after several people complain of nausea and respiratory irritation. The cause is still unclear.

In Dresden-Johannstadt, the fire department is currently carrying out a major operation at a school center. According to the fire department, several people there had complained of nausea and respiratory irritation.

The emergency services evacuated the building immediately. They reportedly investigated the Gustav Anton Zeuner Vocational School Center for Technology (BSZ) to determine the cause of the complaints. The fire department was on site with around 90 firefighters, it added.

TAG24 had previously reported that an ABC alarm had been triggered. The fire department has not yet been able to provide any further details. An NBC alarm warns of acute danger from nuclear, biological or chemical substances.
