Many women and men in Saxony feel stressed even after work. In a Forsa study commissioned by Techniker Krankenkasse (TK), more than a third of respondents stated that they are unable to switch off properly in the evenings or at weekends. Around a quarter (24 percent) are unable to do so even on vacation.
Rest is not a minor matter
"Rest is not a minor matter, but a prerequisite for staying healthy and productive in the long term," explained Alexander Krauß, head of the TK regional office in Saxony. "The days between Christmas and New Year in particular offer a good opportunity to consciously take a break from everyday working life - for example by putting your work phone aside, socializing or getting some exercise in the fresh air."
