Handball Bundesliga club SC DHfK Leipzig has secured the services of Egyptian international Ahmed Khairy for the coming season. The 30-year-old backcourt player joins the Saxons from Egyptian champions Al Ahly.
"I'm delighted that it worked out with Ahmed. We had talked about a possible collaboration before and now it has become a reality. He's a player with international experience and exactly the type of player who will do our team good," said Leipzig coach Raúl Alonso about the new signing.
