Leipzig's female soccer players are not really getting going. After three defeats at 1. FC Nürnberg, they only managed a draw despite taking the lead.

After three defeats in a row, RB Leipzig's women's soccer team failed to break free despite taking the lead. The Saxon Bundesliga club only managed a 1:1 (1:0) draw at 1. FC Nuremberg. Nikoline Dudek (18th minute) scored the opening goal for the visitors at the Max Morlock Stadium. Nastassja Lein (54) equalized for the club.

Leipzig took the lead out of nowhere. Dudek's (18) ball from the right, intended as a cross, spun in and over FCN goalkeeper Larissa Rusek and into the far corner. However, the surprising lead for RB did not bring the hoped-for security to the game. The club were more convincing in the tackles, even though RB had more of the play.

After the changeover, the club deservedly equalized. After a corner, RB were unable to clear the ball and Lein (54) scored her second goal of the season from a scramble to make it 1-1.
