Benjamin Henrichs, who has been injured for a long time, has not yet ticked off his participation in the World Cup and apparently draws hope from a mysterious telephone conversation with the national coach. Henrichs was out of action from December 2024 to January 2026 with a torn Achilles tendon. Since then, he has made ten appearances for Leipzig, but has only started twice. "My performances when I came on as a substitute were decent, but in terms of pure playing time, I need to get more to be considered for the national team again," said Henrichs.
