Promoted DEL team Dresdner Eislöwen continue to build their squad for the new season. One player will no longer be part of the team for the coming season.

The Dresdner Eislöwen and forward Mitch Wahl are parting ways for the new season. As the newly promoted DEL club announced, the 34-year-old German-American will no longer play for the Saxons in the 2025/26 season.

Wahl moved to Dresden in November 2023 and has since played 38 games for the Eislöwen. He scored seven goals and set up nine others. According to the club, the attacker's experience has contributed significantly to the team's offensive strength.

"Ending the season and my time with the Eislöwen with the championship title was something very special. I'm proud to have been part of this team and would like to thank all my teammates, officials and fans for the great support," said Wahl, according to a club statement.
