While league play is on hold due to international matches, SG Dynamo Dresden has an additional training session scheduled under competitive conditions. On Friday, November 13, the Saxons will face Czech second-division club FK Dukla Prague at 1:00 p.m. The match will be held at the AOK PLUS Walter-Fritzsch-Akademie in Dresden.
Friendly match to be played behind closed doors
The game will take place on the Black-and-Yellows’ training fields. Since the match is scheduled to last an unusually long 120 minutes and requires multiple fields, the game will be played behind closed doors. Fans won’t have to miss the game, however: DynamoTV will broadcast the match live on YouTube.
Dukla Prague is an opponent that, following its relegation from the top Czech division, now competes in the second division. The team has performed well there so far and currently sits in third place. The match thus offers Dynamo an opportunity to test itself against an ambitious opponent during the international break.
The last friendly between the two clubs took place several years ago. Dynamo Dresden and Dukla Prague last faced each other in January 2019. In that high-scoring match, Dresden came out on top 3–2 after trailing 1–2 at halftime.
Now the two clubs are set to face off once again. For Dynamo, the main focus is on making good use of the break and gaining more playing experience.
