Hallescher FC is parting ways with coach Zimmermann, but wants to keep him at the club. It remains to be seen who will be the head coach at the start of training. It is possible that it will be an intended assistant coach.

Halle FC will start the regional league season with a new coach. The long-standing third-division soccer club is therefore planning without Mark Zimmermann in the head coach position. "After a thorough analysis of the past season, Hallesche FC has decided to make a personnel change in the head coach position for the coming season. The decision was made on the basis of detailed evaluations between the sporting director and head coach and after intensive consultations with the board," the club announced.

HFC may be planning differently internally with Zimmermann, however. "Hallescher FC will also intensify talks with Mark Zimmermann in the near future about continuing the cooperation in a position at HFC that corresponds to his qualifications", the statement read.

A job as head of youth development would therefore also be conceivable, as Jens Kiefer has left the club after three years. In return, Sascha Prüfer, who signed from FC Eilenburg and was originally considered as assistant coach, could take over the first team.
