Union Berlin wants to continue its role as a RB terror and defend its league lead against the Leipzigers in the top match of the Bundesliga. After the Champions League draw with the Kracher opponent Real Madrid and the commitment of European champion Leonard Bonucci, coach Urs Fischer must now swear the Eisernen for the game on Sunday (17.30 clock/DAZN) back to the sporting tasks.
The omens do not seem to be bad. The last five league games won Union against Leipzig all with 2:1. However: The last coach who could lead his team in the Bundesliga to a success in the stadium at the Alte Försterei was RB coach Marco Rose - at 3-0 in February 2022 still with Borussia Dortmund. Since then, Union has not lost any of its 24 league home games.
