FC Erzgebirge Aue will be without defenders Anthony Barylla and Jamilu Collins for the next few weeks. Both suffered torn muscle fibers in their thighs in the third division home match against Rot-Weiss Essen (2:2). This was the result of MRI examinations, as the club has now confirmed.
This means that three left-backs are missing from the current professional squad. Moritz Seiffert is still suffering from the consequences of a collarbone fracture and has not trained or competed since the beginning of September. Barylla has been in his position since then. Two weeks ago, the experienced Collins was specially signed, who was also injured in the final phase of his first competitive game for Aue on Sunday.
In contrast, Marcel Bär and Max Uhlig are expected back in team training in the next few days after long injury lay-offs.
