Werner had already missed the cup game at Wehen Wiesbaden (3:2) on Wednesday. For the 27-year-old, the injury comes at an inopportune time. Since mid-August, Werner was no longer in the starting eleven and had ended his long goalless streak only last Saturday in Mönchengladbach. Now the attacker is also a spectator with a view to the upcoming international matches. Leipzig has not lost the past three duels with the record champion, even winning twice. Rose does not want to devalue the 3:0 from the Supercup in August by any means. However, he now sees a much-improved Munich team. "Certain structures in Bayern's game have not changed.
