Aue's new sporting director Michael Tarnat believes the relegation-threatened third-division soccer club is capable of much more than the current position in the table would suggest. "I know that there is incredible quality in the dressing room. I am convinced that the team is better than its position in the table," said the former German international at his presentation. After 19 match days, the Saxons are in 16th place.
The Aue fans are hoping for added value from Tarnat's broad network in particular. "A lot" of advisors have already contacted him in the past few days.
