First 18-year-old Rucy Grunenberg has signed a professional contract with RB Leipzig's women's soccer team. This was announced by the Bundesliga club. The U20 talent already made her Bundesliga debut for RB this season and will be a "permanent member of the professional squad" from the summer, RB wrote. The contract runs until June 30, 2026.
"Rucy is young, is still at the beginning of her career and is already impressing with her good and calm overview of the game as well as her clever passing," said Viola Odebrecht, Head of Women's and Girls' Football at RB.
