The Bundesliga handball players of SC DHfK Leipzig clearly missed the second away win in a row. Three days after the 28:22 victory in Lemgo, the team of coach Runar Sigtryggsson collapsed at the SG Flensburg-Handewitt on Wednesday night after the break and lost 24:34 (14:16). Thus, SC DHfK must continue to wait for its first win in Flensburg since the Bundesliga promotion in 2015. In front of 5943 spectators, Viggo Kristjansson and Matej Klima advanced with five goals each to the best throwers of SC DHfK, which now stands at 5:11 points. Franz Semper was against his ex-club for initiative, but hit only two of 13 throws.
The Leipzigers started confidently and quickly earned a 3:1 lead (5th minute).
