The Bundesliga handball team SC DHfK Leipzig will begin preparations for the new season on July 19. This is according to the summer schedule published by the club on Thursday. After a short training camp from July 29 to 31 in Oberwiesenthal, the club will hold a training camp in Hard, Austria, from August 11 to 18. There will also be a series of test matches, mostly against lower-ranked opponents.
The Bundesliga dress rehearsal will take place on August 24 in Leipzig on Handball Day against Polish champions, cup winners and Champions League participants Wisla Plock. The first Bundesliga match is scheduled against TBV Stuttgart between September 5 and 8.
