Marco Rose also expects a reaction from his team in the Bundesliga. After the 2-0 defeat at FSV Mainz 05 and the subsequent place in the last 16 of the Champions League thanks to the 2-1 win at Red Star Belgrade, the RB Leipzig head coach wants to get back to winning ways in the league as well.

"We've left our mark in the Bundesliga. I expect us to be greedy and attacking," said Rose ahead of this Sunday's game (7.30pm/DAZN) against SC Freiburg. Rose is particularly curious about the tactics of the team from Freiburg. "Will they also play deeper? Or will they surprise us and attack early? That's the exciting question."

In Timo Werner and Yussuf Poulsen, two strikers are fit for action again. Werner, who was recently absent due to an infection and scored ten times against Freiburg, took part in full team training with the Saxons on Friday. Poulsen, who has had adductor problems recently, is expected to be in the squad for the clash between the two teams with the strongest duels.

Leipzig are unbeaten in nine competitive matches against Freiburg. The Breisgauers have only managed two draws at the Red Bull Arena and have gone home losers five times.
