Bundesliga club RB Leipzig will be without Xaver Schlager for the foreseeable future. The midfielder will have to take a break due to adductor problems, as the club announced. The downtime will be "a few weeks depending on his recovery".
Schlager was substituted in the 65th minute of the 2-2 home draw against Borussia Dortmund with muscular problems in the adductor area. The examination has now revealed that he will be out for several weeks. The 28-year-old has started an individual rehabilitation program.
