The next new addition to the offense. After Suleman Sani, RB Leipzig also buys Dutchman Ayodele Thomas. However, he still has no professional experience.

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has signed its next attacking talent. The club announced the transfer of Ayodele Thomas. The 18-year-old left winger comes from PSV Eindhoven and reportedly costs a transfer fee of 400,000 euros. Thomas has signed a contract until the end of June 2031.

"Dele is a great talent who fits in perfectly with our playing philosophy: He is a fast, tricky and agile winger who is always looking for the direct duel. He also shows a good drive towards goal, likes to look for the finish or make decisive preparations," said sporting director Marcel Schäfer.

No professional experience

The teenager is the second talented addition to the attack this winter. Leipzig had previously acquired Suleman Sani from AS Trencin. However, the 19-year-old Nigerian injured his ankle in training last week and will be out for up to six weeks.

For the Saxons, the signing of Thomas should be seen as an investment in the future anyway, as he has not yet gained any professional experience. Thomas caught the eye in the second team of the Dutch league leaders this season. In addition to Leipzig, he is also said to have been watched by VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt.
