RB Leipzig loans youngster Eduardo to Dordrecht

RB Leipzig are continuing to focus on the development of Yannick Eduardo abroad. The 19-year-old attacker has been loaned to Dutch second division club FC Dordrecht for one season, as the Saxons announced. He will be coached there by former international Dirk Kuyt.

This is Eduardo's third loan spell in the Netherlands. In the first half of the 2024/25 season, he played for De Graafschap (12 games, 2 goals), while in the second half of the season he played for FC Emmen (17 games, 1 goal).

"Yannick Eduardo can continue to gain valuable match practice in Dordrecht and take the next steps in professional soccer. It's the perfect next step for Yannick and us for his best possible development," said sporting director Marcel Schäfer.
