RB Leipzig is extending its season with a promotional tour to Brazil. From May 23 to 30, the Bundesliga club will be the first Bundesliga club to travel to the country of the five-time world champion in more than 25 years. A test match against Neymar's club FC Santos is planned on 28 May.
Training will take place at the academy of partner club Bragantino north of São Paulo, which opened in 2024. Public training sessions and marketing campaigns are planned in and around the metropolis.
"The country is one of the most important markets worldwide, both for the DFL and for our partners Red Bull and Puma. We therefore see ourselves not only as ambassadors for Leipzig, but for the entire Bundesliga," said CEO Johann Plenge.
