RB Leipzig will play the top match of the Bundesliga at FC Bayern Munich on a Friday evening. As announced by the German Football League (DFL), the Saxons will travel to the record champions on December 20. Kick-off is at 8.30 pm and the match will also be shown on free-to-air television on Sat.1. Five days earlier, Leipzig will face Eintracht Frankfurt at home at 7.30 pm. This fixture will also be shown on November 4 (8.45 pm/ZDF), when the two teams face each other in the DFB Cup. Before that, the RB footballers face Bundesliga newcomers Holstein Kiel on 7 December at 3.30 pm.
The new year begins with an English week. First, coach Marco Rose's team will face Werder Bremen on January 12 (3:30 p.m.), then RB will play VfB Stuttgart on January 15 (8:30 p.m.) for the last game of the first half of the season. On January 18, Leipzig will host VfL Bochum (3:30 p.m.). German champions Bayer Leverkusen come to the Red Bull Arena on January 25 at 3.30 p.m.
