Bundesliga handball club ThSV Eisenach is looking for a new coach for the coming season. The club has announced that it has reached an agreement with coach Misha Kaufmann to terminate his contract, which originally ran until 2027, early at the end of the current season. The club thus complied with the 40-year-old Swiss coach's wishes.
The club also made the separation at the end of the season official, after there had been questions about the Swiss coach's future in Eisenach for weeks. Last December, the first division club announced that the successful coach had asked for his contract to be terminated early. According to media reports, Kaufmann is to take over league rivals TVB Stuttgart in the future.
