Basketball Bundesliga club Syntainics MBC has completed its squad for the new season. Michael Devoe is the final piece of the puzzle in the Weißenfels squad. The 24-year-old, 1.96-meter tall American will arrive in Weißenfels in the course of the new week and fill the Wolves' shooting guard position. He is the last of the nine new signings in the squad of 14 players.
MBC Head Coach Janis Gailitis attests to the talent and scoring mentality of Devoe, who signed a one-year contract. In the course of the preparation, the US-American will have to get used to European basketball and integrate. Devoe comes from Melbourne, a seaside resort on the east coast of Florida. Most recently, he played in the NBA substructure, the G-League, for the Ontario Clippers, Salt Lake City Stars and Memphis Hustle as well as briefly for Maccabi Ramat Gan in Israel in the final phase of last season.
