Football international David Raum has come through the surgical procedure following a torn ligament in his right foot well and has already returned to his club RB Leipzig. As the Saxons announced on the short message service X (formerly Twitter), the left-back can now begin his rehabilitation program. It remains to be seen how long Raum will be out for.
The 26-year-old suffered the injury in the last Bundesliga match against 1. FC Heidenheim (1:0). Despite this, he had initially traveled to the national team for the upcoming Nations League matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Netherlands, but then had to miss out. Instead, Raum underwent surgery.
