Marco Rose is hoping center back Lukas Klostermann will return before this Tuesday's Champions League opener at Swiss club Young Boys Bern. "Klosti is still hanging over the bowl. We're doing everything we can to have him on the plane with us on Monday," the RB Leipzig coach said after Saturday's 3-0 Bundesliga win over FC Augsburg. "I'll give him a call and ask, "Klosti what's going on there". Such a body, there is no such thing. But somehow what goes around there, also the coach had the week a bit of problems."
While Rose certified newcomer Castello Lukeba as a replacement for the injured defensive chief Willi Orban a "strong game". But now nothing more should happen in terms of personnel in the defense of the Cup winner, as newcomer El Chadaille Bitshiabu (medial knee ligament) is also out for the long term.
