RB Leipzig has missed all its targets for the season. A thorough analysis of the season should be carried out without emotion. An important point is also the basic orientation, because RB has "clear goals".

After his mission as interim coach at RB Leipzig, Zsolt Löw will return to Jürgen Klopp's global group team. There will then be a major analysis after missing out on qualifying for the top flight. "Of course we're disappointed that we didn't play in the Champions League. Of course we have to turn over every stone and act where necessary. But I warn against actionism. We must not make important decisions immediately. We need time as a club to really evaluate everything soberly and without emotion for the future," said Löw ahead of the season finale this Saturday (15:30/Sky) against VfB Stuttgart.

The ambitious club must also work on its basic direction. "No one should see the club as a stopover," said Löw, who will return to work alongside Klopp as Head of Soccer Development after his trip to Brazil at the end of May, where he also oversees the RB clubs as Head of Global Soccer with Technical Director Mario Gomez.

This is "an important point of many, many points for the future, where we would also like to make changes. The club has a clear identity, has a clear goal," he said, adding: "We've become a really big club that has clear goals and fights for trophies and Champions League appearances. Every player must be clear and aware of that."
