Mario Gomez has extended his contract as Technical Director at Red Bull until 2028. According to dpa information, he will continue to work at the company's site in Munich. From January 1, he will also work alongside Jürgen Klopp, who will take up his position as "Head of Global Soccer" at the drinks group in the new year. The German newspaper "Bild" first reported the news.
Klopp will primarily commute between the RB clubs' locations in Leipzig, New York, Bragantino (Brazil) and Omiya Ardija (Japan), but his expertise is also in demand at English second division club Leeds United and Paris FC, where Red Bull has minority stakes.
