Leipzig (dpa) - When RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt meet, the odds are stacked against the visiting team. Only once before, on January 13 of this year, has there been an away win. Eintracht won 1:0 in Leipzig thanks to a goal from Ansgar Knaufff. Eintracht Frankfurt have been unbeaten in the Bundesliga for six games. Four wins and two draws were unprecedented under coach Dino Toppmöller. André Silva converted a penalty in the game at Holstein Kiel to make it 2-0. The former Frankfurt player thus extended his personal streak: All twelve of his shots from the spot in the Bundesliga found their way into the goal. Only Hans-Joachim Abel, who played for Fortuna Düsseldorf, FC Schalke 04 and VfL Bochum among others, and former Duisburg player Ludwig Nolden, who passed away in February, converted more often without failing In 13 games this season, RB have only created 15 big chances. That puts the Saxons in 15th place, in contrast to Eintracht, who have created 34 clear-cut opportunities. No other team has managed that this season. RB have scored 22 goals in the 16 Bundesliga games against Frankfurt so far. Yussuf Poulsen has scored four of them, more than any other Leipzig player. Luckily for Eintracht, the Dane is currently not in the Saxony squad due to injury. Copyright 2024, dpa (www.dpa.de). All rights reservedFirst away win
