The women of RB Leipzig have made their first new signing for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Annabel Schasching is moving to Leipzig from league rivals SC Freiburg, the club announced. The 22-year-old Austria international has signed a contract until 2027.
The midfielder has played in all 18 games so far this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Schasching made her 50th league appearance in last Sunday's 1-1 draw in Leipzig.
