Dynamo Dresden has suffered yet another setback in terms of personnel. Luca Herrmann injured his right foot during the away game against Hannover 96 and will be sidelined for the remainder of the year.

SG Dynamo Dresden will have to do without Luca Herrmann for the final weeks of the year. The midfielder sustained an injury to his right foot during the away game against Hannover 96 on Sunday, November 1. He is not expected to return to the field this year.

Injury in the Final Stages

The injury occurred shortly before the end of the match. Herrmann sustained the injury after being kicked in the foot during a tackle. For Dresden, his absence poses an additional challenge with regard to the remaining matches until the end of the year.

Sports Director Sören Gonther regrets the loss of the midfielder, especially given the extensive remaining schedule. “His absence is a blow to us, especially given the length of his recovery and the number of games we still have to play this year,” Gonther said, commenting on the situation.

Focus on Recovery

At SGD, the focus is now on providing Herrmann with the best possible support on his road to recovery. The goal is for the midfielder to be fully fit again by the start of the new year and able to resume his athletic duties without restrictions.

Gonther emphasized the club’s support during his rehabilitation: “As always, we’ll do everything we can to support Luca in his recovery so that he’s fully fit again by the start of the new year.”
