Saxon BSW politician Jens Hentschel-Thöricht criticizes data gaps in the handling of the corona pandemic in Saxony and accuses the government of a lack of transparency. "It is alarming that the state government has no reliable data on deaths and infections despite vaccination," explained the MP, who had submitted a minor question to the state parliament.
BSW criticizes considerable gaps in the recording of vaccination status
The state government's answers would show "considerable gaps in the recording of the vaccination status of corona deaths and infected persons in Saxony". There was also a lack of precise information on the total number of infected people. "This means that we had and have hardly any reliable information about the effectiveness and actual effects of the vaccinations in Saxony," said the member of parliament from the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance.
In its response, the Ministry of Social Affairs pointed out that the data available to it was not reliable due to incomplete reporting and data collection.
